One small but significant commitment you can make to enact change is to shop from and support local Black-owned businesses, which like many local businesses have been heavily affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. In fact, a form of allyship can be making a conscious decision to spend your dollars to promote economic equality and combat systemic racism.
