Caption/Description
"Being that this was the first time I had ever been in Africa, as an African-American, it was a very emotional and fulfilling experience. Ethiopia has so much history and holds great significance in Islam. Formally known as Abyssinia, Ethiopia was where Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and his companions fled to after facing persecution from the Quraysh.
Ethiopia was also never colonized, has one of the oldest alphabets in the world, was home to the Queen of Sheba (Bilqis in the Qur'an), and is claimed to be the birthplace of coffee.
At least once in your life, take a trip to Ethiopia!"
